CSA Training Services Inc (CSA) began in 1990 and is renowned as an innovative, vibrant, multi faceted professional organisation. CSA is a Not for Profit community based Registered Training Organisation providing training for clients from varying backgrounds for example:

 

  • The Long Term Unemployed
  •  Migrants
  •  Refugees
  •  Youth
  •  People with a Disability
  •  Indigenous job seekers
  •  Aged persons and others.

 

CSA’s main focus with training relates to community needs and requirements assisting those people in need to gain education to further their abilities to find work opportunities and further education.  CSA is committed to providing training that is meaningful and assists clients to gain worthwhile employment.

 

CSA’s core business is English Language Training which includes the delivery of the Language Literacy & Numeracy Program (LLNP) on behalf of The Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).  CSA has been delivering this program since its original involvement in the pilot program in 1997 and has also been successful in winning three Tenders for similar delivery since that time.    Clients are referred for LLNP by Centrelink and Employment Service Providers (contracted by DEEWR) and come from many disadvantaged backgrounds. 

 

CSA’s head office is located in Baulkham Hills, and has five additional training locations in southwestern and western Sydney providing training facilities for the delivery of LLNP as well as other Government funded programs.  These training venues are located in:  Parramatta, Auburn, Cabramatta, Fairfield and Liverpool.

 

CSA has memberships with all the relevant training bodies such as, Australian Institute of Training Development (AITD), Vocational Educational Training Accreditation Board (VETAB), Industry Training Authority Boards (ITABs) plus many others.  CSA is also involved in the community through local councils such as Auburn Council and Fairfield City Council, has memberships with local Chambers of Commerce as well as involvement in Migrant Organizations throughout South Western Sydney.

CSA ensures all trainers are qualified and our training programs comply with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).

CSA has also been successful in the recent DEEWR Employment Services Tender for inclusion on the Innovation Fund Panel which commenced in July 2009 and finalising on 30 June 2012.   The Innovation Fund is a competitive grants program designed to address the needs of the most disadvantaged job seekers through funding projects that will foster innovative solutions to overcome barriers to employment which these job seekers face.  CSA will be able to work in partnership with other organisations to provide suitable solutions during this timeframe.

 

CSA throughout its twenty year history has been a flexible and open organization and is well known and respected in the South Western community.  CSA commenced as a SkillShare in the Cabramatta and Bonnyrigg areas and when these were dissolved with changing government requirements CSA focused in areas of expertise such as English Language Training and has sustained positive growth in the delivery of Government funded programs to assist clients in the community.
