Language,
Literacy and Numeracy is delivered from Parramatta,
Merrylands, Auburn and Baulkham Hills -Delivered at CSA Parramatta and Auburn
training venues close to parking and public transport Cabramatta,
Fairfield and Liverpool - Delivered at CSA Cabramatta, Fairfield and Liverpool
training venues close to public transport and parking The target group
is challenging in terms of training development, given their individual
needs. Trainers for the program are selected for their demonstrated
capabilities with this group. The
Program Coordinator has extensive experience in delivering training and
coordinating educational programs for candidates with learning difficulties
and behavioural problems, internationally. The Language,
Literacy and Numeracy Program has two elements: 1) Assessment
of candidates relating existing skills to the National Reporting Standards
for Language, Literacy and Numeracy and providing an extensive report of
assessment outcomes. 2) Provision
of training in Language, Literacy and Numeracy specific to each participant. There are five streams of training
available to participants: Language
training focus in three streams:
Initial, Basic and Advanced Literacy/numeracy
training focus in two streams: Basic
and Advanced The delivery strategy
for the training is face to face with a requirement of a minimum of 12 hours
training per week to a maximum of 20 hours per week depending clients
requirements. Clients can be eligible
for a total of 800 hours of training delivered in 200 hour blocks. There are two
objectives to the Program: 1) To
increase the participant’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills and achieve
two whole Australian Core Skills Framework Standards or to the standard
appropriate to their position. 2) To
provide the client with a solution to the Language, Literacy and Numeracy
problem and provide them with the skills to gain employment. Should you have any
