CSA has been involved in security training for six years, delivering qualifications ranging from Certificate I to Diploma. Training is delivered either on-the-job or at CSA sites in Parramatta, Cabramatta, Fairfield and Liverpool using experienced qualified security industry trainers, two of whom serve on industry training advisory boards. Many of our trainers also hold the Diploma in Security (Risk Management).

Over one thousand students have graduated from CSA security training programmes. Many of those have graduated under government, both state and federal, funded programmes.

CSA constantly reviews the content of its security training, to ensure training resources match the changing world of the security industry, and updates these resources as required by legislation and market forces. e.g. as the laws on self-defence and the use of force change, so to does the law material that is given to our students.

CSA is purely a professional training organisation. Unlike many security training organisations, CSA is not a security company; it does not deliver any security services at all. Security companies can therefore work with CSA, comfortable in the knowledge that CSA will never be a competitor, only a partner in training.

CSA is Registered Training Organisation and holds a security industry master licence for security training. It is a broad-based training organisation, delivering not only accredited quality security training but also accredited training in Workplace Training and Assessment, Information Technology and Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) to name but a few. CSA is one of the largest providers of LLN training in the state, delivering multi-million dollar contracts to the state and federal governments. To fulfil a task of this complexity, CSA has 20 full time suitably qualified staff members including a full-time security training manager who can tailor training to the unique needs of the your security company. CSA also has contract trainers available to design and deliver training in many other areas including risk management.

This depth of knowledge and professionalism gives CSA the ability to develop unique training packages such as the only security/English language training course in the country.
